Do you know how to calculate your travel carbon footprint?

If the reduction in travel throughout 2020 taught us anything, it's that everyone contributes in some way, shape, or form to the sustainability of Mother Earth.

For me, our friends over at SustainableTravel.org said it best, "exploring a new destination and immersing yourself in different cultures can be a life-altering experience. But how we travel and the choices we make can dramatically affect the people and places we visit."

They've gone on to point out that with more than a billion people travel the world annually in recent history and there's no denying that the opportunity to implement change is everywhere.

But as with anything, we have to want to seek out these opportunities for change, which starts with understanding. One of the simplest ways to understand your impact is by calculating your travel carbon footprint. Don't worry; you won't have to do any math. Our friends over at SustainableTravel.org make it easy for anyone to calculate right it here.

No you're probably wondering what's is carbon offsetting and how does it work? This amazing infographic breaks it down perfectly.
